Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a great holiday for sports and it is always proven true every year. Every year there is always 2 to 3 games of football and the tradition teams that play are the Packers, Cowboys and Lions. But every year my family eats there food a gathers around the tv and we watch the football game as a family and we have done this for a long time. Just goes to show you that sports is not only just for athletic people but its also and excuse for a family gathering. Now even if you dont like football alot of people still watch the games just because its the main thing on tv that day!

GO ANGELS!!

Well I was watching baseball this whole week and what I thought was goin to be a blow out series is actually shaping up to be a good one. The Yankees I thought were actually going to sweep the Angels but the Angels have managed to make it a series and is one game away from tieing the series. I want the Angels to win personally because I'm from California and it would be awesome to see my state represented in the world series. I also hate the Yankees because they spend all that money and they cant ever win but now they are starting too but I still hate them. So the angels need to step it up and win these next two games and were in. The umpiring is killing them so far, the umpiring has been horrible and its a big topic right now on sportscenter. But they are working on getting it figured out and fixed. So all you Angel fans out there lets go ANGELS!!

Jose Doesnt Swing for the Fences!

I was looking on the internet the other day and I saw that a pro baseball player was banned from a minor league team because of actions he had committed. Jose Offerman who use to play in the pros was now down in the minors playing the game he loved when his temper took the turn for the worse. He was hit by a pitch by a pitcher and he got really mad. He then charged the mound and its not un common guys fight all the time but fist to fist. Jose decided to take some extra stuff with him. He took his bat and charged after the pitcher trying to hit and he swung and missed but on the back swing he hit the ctachers hand and broke his hand. He is now banned for life and just to show you again that everything can be taken away from you in a second if your not careful.

2 years vs 30 days

I going to talk about something that has happened a long time ago but I thought it was something that happened that shouldnt have. Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison for shooting himself in the leg one night at a night club in New York. Now how would a guy get two years for shooting himself in the leg and Dante Stallworth can kill someone driving drunk and only get 30 days in jail. Something is fishy there and I think someone is getting paid off in this situation wich is sad. But I dont what do you guys think?

Lynn Baseball

Today we had a our first practice as a team and it went great! Its such a difference having the whole team than just a few guys out on the feild at a time. We look really good and I cant wait to see what we can do when the season comes around. Our coaches our really excited and happy with what we are doing so far. I may have lived in California my whole life but I can say first hand that I have never had a baseball experience like this and I love it here. All the teammates are great and really understand the concept of team. Were like one big family and Im not just saying that we really are. So far so good and the great thing is we still have a lot more time to practice and get even better so I cant wait. I will just keep working hard and getting better.

Live My Dream

Well one thing I will is sports has done a lot of things for me in my life. Including making a lot of friends and meeting a lot of new people. I met one great girl when I played in a game in C.V. and she was the greatest girl I have ever met and I thought she was too. But also what sports got me also took it away. Here I was getting a scholarship to go play ball for Lynn University and I had to go all the way to Florida and we knew it would be hard but we thought we could do it. We were wrong we have grown apart over this few weeks that I have been here and Im starting to see how she really felt about me. So I love sports and I will tell you first hand don't give up your dream to be with a girl because it never works out the way you want it to. So now I will be living my dream that I have had since I was a little kid and I wouldn't have it any other way.

The Spot Light is Stolen Once Again

I was laying in my bed just getting ready to take a nap and decided to turn on Sports Center and all over it was Micheal Jordan. Surprise surprise hes once again the center of attention but this time for a different reason than hitting a game winning shot or winning another NBA title. This time he has won an even bigger award and that is hes being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame and being named the greatest to ever play the game. In case for those who dont know ever year they have a class that they induct into the Hall of Fame and this year is being considered the best class to ever go in at once. No one else knows who else is going in though because the spotlight is on Jordan. But greats like John Stockton, David Robinson, and two college coaches. You will turn on the tv though and its all about Mike no one cares about the other 4 people goin in. So once again, as in his prime, he has stolen the spot light.
